The ticking clock heralds the passing of time.

Endless, monotonous minutes creep through the hallways of the mind and the labyrinth of the soul where men are left to face himself and his irresistible compulsions. These unspoken forces drive our deepest desires and fuel our most profound fears. We are powerless in front of them, just as we are powerless in the face of the march of time.

Do you hear it?
They call for you in the midnight hour, whispering in your mind’s ears the most secret of secrets.

Do you see it?
They appear to you from the corner of your eye, beckoning you to follow them down the rabbit hole.

The clock chimes. It’s time to listen up and follow suit. Will you come seek us in the darkened rooms filled with echoes of the past? Will you dance with us under the garish mercury moon? Will take our hands and join us through the Longest Night?

Welcome to the “Longest Night” Challenges where we explore men’s deepest fears and desires until he comes face to face with his most irrational and terrible fate.

:omgomg: Eight O’clock: Claustrophobia :bademoticon:
One of the most common phobias, the fear of enclosed spaces is another fear that had a strong evolutionary and cultural basis. It was said that our ancestors have learned that small, dark places may be the homes of dangerous animals and we need to be fearful of them. As a consequence, this fear may be a trait that we pass on from generations to generations. The cultural component of claustrophobia may include folktales of premature burial. Between 5-7% of the world population is estimated to be affected by severe claustrophobia. Triggers include elevators, medical equipment (such as the MRI) and even tightly-knit clothing and turtlenecks.
Notable example: The actress Uma Thurman has severe claustrophobia. During the filming of “Kill Bill: Vol. 2”, she was filmed buried alive in a coffin. She described it as “horrific. Nobody wants to live that experience.”

To our dear patients: Please consider joining us on our long march through the hills and vales of the human mind. After all, they say one man's trash is another's treasure. One man's fear may just be another's pleasure as well. And you would never know what your pleasure is until you explore the extremes of your senses. So please, come explore with us. There's always room for more.

If you are interested in reaching out to the staff for conversations, doubts, one-to-one sessions and a guided-tour of the grounds and the lay of your mental land, please don't hesitate in letting one of us know. We are mostly approachable and we take pride in our work and our patients. Please Let us know how we can help you.
We wish to thank all of you, dear patients. For your dedication, which is making this longest night the most beautiful of ever.
Thank you.
We entrust you for the next mad year.

Have a nice and insane stay in our home,
Dr. Psychic
