Lightingdust was awake. Again.
No sleep for two tired parents: this was Knockout and Flairfire's third sparkling. They should be used to this, but the hyper sparkling was more stubborn than them. The little technorganic was a bug like the carrier, but he wasn't a butterfly. He was a dragonfly, even worse.
That little pest seemed unable to hold still for a whole sparkbeat. He enjoyed zipping along the floor since his wings weren't strong enough to fully lift him. Not yet. In that moment they would doomed.
Lightingdust was a little racer who enjoyed escaping his parents, especially when it was nap or bath time.
Now he was almost still in his high chair, drinking his sparklings energon. His blue optics were wide open, watching his worn out parents walking around the kitchen.
Flairfire licked depressed some flowers, whining.
"Wow, you two look like zombies!" Breakdown astonished commented, while looked at the best friend, usually perfect and shining and now with huge optic sockets. Then he looked at his wife: her usually perfect looking straight orange mane now was as ruffled as her daughter's.
Flairfire sat at the table, sighing. "Well, the sparkling was up all night, ever since he found how to use his wings. He's a little speed demon now..." She giggled looking at her mate. Just like his sire.
"I feel really slow right now." Knockout whined, drinking a very strong energon coffee, while Breakdown looked puzzled. "I didn't hear anything this night!"
"This occurs when your own snoring is strong enough to deafen you." The medic grumpy replied.
Flairfire smiled and made funny faces at the sparkling.
He was able to dirt himself twice faster than other sparklings with those four servos, so Flairfire had to bathe him almost after every meal.
The parents were slowly going nuts due to the lack of sleep. Knockout looked sadly at the friend.
"Breakdown. I need a huge favor."
The Wrecker, unaware of the huge trap he was falling in, shrugged. "Sure, what is it?"

"So, now you became a babysitter?" An amused Crystal asked, sewing while a depressed Wrecker sighed, a happy dragonfly in a baby ridiculous pouch.
He sighed. "I had no choice, Knockout begged me! He said that if he wouldn't be able to sleep for some hours I would have to call an exorcist for him!"
"Drama queen."
The Wrecker shrugged and looked down at the little sparkling. He was clearly a technorganic insect like his carrier, but he had very small and tiny antennas. His wings seemed shining of many colors and you could get hypnotized staring at them for too long. Like his carrier he had four arms, and some soft orange hair on his helm, but he was red like his sire, and his eyes had the same shape of Knockout.
"They were already sleeping on the sofa when I left, so I really had no choice."
Breakdown smiled softly and wondered if other possible sparklings -in a far future, since they used the berth just to sleep, when they could!- they would look more like their sire. Knockout loved each of the sparklings and he was like an uncle for them all... he just wondered if his friend would want a sparkling more like him. With some luck that little pest would be similar to the sire in the spirit at least... No, maybe that wasn't a good idea. Breakdown thought, shivering a bit.
One vain flirty speed demon with a sharp glossa was enough!

Flairfire woke up next to her mate on the sofa, confused. For a moment she got worried and looked around for her sparkling... then remembered that Breakdown offered to babysit him, thank to Primus.
She yawned and noticed that she left the tv on the fashion channel. She was going to switch it off and shake her husband to make him move to the berth, when noticed a familiar faceplate in the talk show. Her icy blue optics grew wide when she saw him.
It was Flash-shot, that damn...
That little vain red and orange mech had been her rival since the fashion designer school!
Right now he was vaunting, while some sexy models where waggling their hips to show his creations as they walked around. Ew, the usual haute couture with no sense and too many details which clashed with each other. Flairfire always preferred less details, but well done.
"...so what makes a fashion designer the best of the city?"
"Well... most of all we need a great imagination and artistic taste, then a good staff to make it real, and just the best material."
Pfui, his taste was similar to a little girl's who wanted to wear twenty necklaces at once. Flairfire rolled her optics.
"...to make all these amazing dresses you need many persons, so the works will be just for the runaway and the wealthiest customers. Aren't you afraid to be considered an elite designer?"
"I don't see why it should be considered a bad thing: artists always sold their talent for money, and rich benefactors are fundamental."
Ew, little pharisee.
"But recently we saw the sales for the elite lowered, especially after the ball. There we saw another great artist's creation."
The butterfly smiled and clapped when saw some photos of her dresses and her seamstresses while they wore them. She would have been there, if she just didn't have to lay her egg, but Crystal did an amazing work with the organization.
"Plus one of her students started getting famous for her helm and dress ornaments, which now are available online and not just in Flairfire's sh-"
Flash-shot sniggered. "Oh yes. One of her WORKERS managed to eclipse her. Something which doesn't happen with true talented artists."
Flairfire snarled. "That slagger!" She yelled hitting the table, while Knockout startled and woke up.
She watched the program more as the presenter laughed nervously.
"I would gladly give that seamstress a higher pay then what she gives, so I could teach her far better than Flairfire."
The tv started moving dangerously when the little pink butterfly grabbed it. "You better leave my girls alone or I'll tear you a new one!!!"
Knockout rubbed his faceplate, whining. "Remember me why he hates you so much?"
She pouted, crossing her four arms and leaving the poor tv alone. "He didn't appreciate to have lower grades than mine at the fashion design school!"
"And he didn't like that you didn't accept to date him." Knockout a bit amused said, while she turned astonished to look at the medic. "I never told you that, how-"
"All this bitterness can be explained just like a scorned love."
She smiled warmly, rubbing his cheek with a smile. "He came too late of at least thirteen years." Knockout was going to kiss her, but Flash-shot vocalizer made her turn fast, so the medic ended smooching the air.
"I do offer a challenge for Lady Flairfire in designing a new collection. We shall both put our best designs and then have them judged by some real experts and not just a bunch of broke brats!"
"Aaah, but how old he is? He sounds like a primary school brat, right my-" the medic looked at the enraged mate. "Ehm... my love?"
She growled looking red as she punched the table again. "That AFTHOLE!!!!" She yelled.
The medic sighed. "Fine. I'll let you screaming to the television. Warn me if it replies to you, eh?" He said, getting up to go to sleep one hour or two before his shift started.
But his adorable butterfly had other plans in mind. She grabbed him and dragged him in their room, tossing the heavier mech on the berth easily. "I need to vent off, now." She growled, straddling the astonished mate before kissing him roughly.
Knockout looked at her, confused and shocked. "Wait... I thought we were worn out!" He exclaimed, looking at the angry pink butterfly who seemed determined to rape him.
Flairfire pouted sexily at him. "Well, now I need you, my sweet honey." She cooed, before kissing him again.
"You are really impossible." Knockout huffed, before kissing her back.

"Jeez, now I get why Knockout can't sleep!"
Crystal looked at the ceiling, where a very happy dragonfly was walking. The kid laughed, as if it was a funny game giving his babysitter a spark attack.
"Mhm... I think you'll need a harness and a leash." Crystal commented.
Breakdown sighed, a small net in his servo. "I've never had to deal with an insect technorganic before." He finally managed to catch the dragonfly and held it before Lightingdust could try to fly away.
"Hopefully his parents won't have any more sparklings for a while."
"Yeah, how could it happen?" He groaned and Crystal looked amused. "Well, when a carrier and a sire love each other a lot-"
"No, I mean how could they let this happen at their age!" Breakdown exclaimed, embarrassed. "They didn't learn how sparklings are, especially technorganics? Who is that silly to make more sparklings after TWO of them?!?" He startled when the little pest bit him.
The red dragonfly hurried to buzz his wings and speeded off, gliding down to the floor. Soon the hunt restarted.
"Stop it, you'll get hurt!"
Crystal's brow trembled. Then she just collected a toy from the sparkling bag and squeezed it, making it squeal. A moment later the happy baby dragonfly was on her lap, trying to catch the toy.
She smiled at her boyfriend astonished stare. "I helped my elder sister to take care of Piper."
Breakdown smiled warmly at her. One day, maybe...
"He is a good sparkling, just very lively. They all are." She said, cuddling the little dragonfly.
"Do you want one? I mean, one day!" He hurried to add when the light blue and pink femme looked at him.
"I never thought about it, to be honest. I want to save some as much as possible for my sisters. They are my family."
He smiled sadly, but nodded while in his mind he thought of a vain medic with his funny butterfly wife and their three sparklings. "I know what you mean."

Flairfire sighed satisfied as she laid in berth. Then she remembered why she was angry and crossed her arms. "Jeez, did you hear him? He challenged me!"
"Aaaah, Primus!" The medic moaned, a pillow on his faceplate while the ruffled butterfly got up.
"I can't avoid a challenge, it will be considered a weakness!"
"What are you, an old style gunwoman?" Knockout shifted the pillow to look at the wife.
She had two servos on her hips and the other two were brushing her hair.
"I will beat him and show him I am the queen of fashion." Then she looked at her adored mate, blinking her fluffy eyelashes. He always had been her inspiration source, maybe...
"Forget about it." The mech serious said, crossing his arms.
"But Knockout!!!!" She exclaimed, hitting the berth in frustration.
"No way, we have plenty of problems and things to do with a new sparkling, my job and yours without adding even a challenge just a child would take seriously! Ignore that idiot and keep working." The medic huffed, getting up.
Flairfire sighed, standing up. "You are right. I let my pride get a head of me." She admitted while her sparkmate looked at her astonished. Did he just win a discussion?
"How about if this late afternoon I kidnap you so we can have a picnic with Lightingdust and the other kids at the park?"
"Why not?" He smiled, before coming back to brush her chin. "My beautiful girl, just don't look behind yourself." He said, bowing to kiss her quickly before heading to the kitchen. If he couldn't rest he could cook at least!
Grinning Flairfire called her children to invite them.
"Unless someone is going to die Skyler is quite busy..." A calm Death Dancer commented, while an embarrassed technorganic wolf was tied to the berth, the sexy seeker straddling him.
Skyler blushed madly, glad that he didn't use the webcam option to open the commlink. "Sorry mama, it seems I'll be busy for a long while. I promise I'll come another time, eh?"
"Oh... ok son... bye." She sighed, hanging up and trying to call her daughter again.
"Yes mama?" A sleepy vocalizer asked and she blinked.
"Snowfire, you are at home?" Flairfire covered her mouth with two servos: did the daughter hear them while...
"Mhm... yes. Exams period. I slept until now."
She sighed in relief. "How about if this afternoon you take a break and go for a picnic with me, your daddy and Lightingdust?"
She smiled a bit. "I'm sorry, but I have a date."
"Ah true. I forgot about it." She sighed, as her pink wings dropped.
Snowfire and she were agree that it wasn't a good idea talking about Soundwave... at least not yet.
They could introduce that delicate matter when Knockout would be in a good mood.
In a REALLY good mood.

Crystal rubbed her tired light blue optics before returning to work at the sewing machine. Now that Flairfire had to take a break to lay her egg and then to take care of the sparkling she and the other three seamstresses had a lot of work to do, especially after the ball which gave more popularity to her shop.
Breakdown had went out to get some lunch for her. Luckily his boss gave him a day off, she totally forgot to get some of Piper's delicious creations and was starving!
She was focused on some lace when she heard some mess outdoor and looked up. A small group of people was chatting outside, sending messages and trying to look very important even if they just stood there.
A red and orange mech just came in, looking around with a despise smile on his faceplate. "I'm looking for miss Crystal. Where is she?"
"Who wants to know it?" She unfazed asked, turning her attention back to her lace.
"I'm surprised you don't know who I am. I guess working all the time with old tools in old places you lost your optics sight. I'm Flash-shot."
Crystal huffed. "What do you want?"
He looked down at her desk and recognized some of the helm and dress decorations she sold online.
"Hello there young lady. I'd like to offer you an amazing opportunity, my dear Crystal."
The light blue and pink femme looked at the clothes the mech was wearing. Like a rainbow puke mixed with tropical birds. She raised a brow.
"Are you going to give me the amazing opportunity to teach you some tastefulness?"
Flash-shot gave a little glare but smirked. "I had the pleasure of seeing your work before, it's quite interesting, so I'd like to offer you a job at my shop in the most fashionable city in Cybertron. Your pay would be three times than what you are getting from Flairfire."
"Wow, that's really interesting, but I prefer working in this city and make THIS the most fashionable city in Cybertron." Crystal smiled, before returning to the sewing machine. "Plus you don't need another seamstress in your crew: you need ideas."
What did she mean, that he needed ideas from his subordinates to create something beautiful?  "Come on, your colleagues have already expected my offer, you are losing a great opportunity to work for the best in the world and see one day your creations on the runaways. It's just you now, my dear."
"If you talked with my colleagues then I don't see why you should want me. Plus don't think that any of us could tell you Flairfire's secrets after you steal one of us from her. We all signed a confidentiality undertaking. Sorry, Flashy." Crystal said with a sweet smile while he growled.
"It's Flash-shot!"
"Looking at your clothes the name which you recall to me is 'Flashy', sir." She commented, before smiling more. "Now, buy something or leave me alone."
Flash-shot growled angry. "Oh rude, I see you get your attitude from your boss. I assure you, Flairfire is about to go down and you will be dragged down with her. You better rethink my offer."
"And you better rethink about threatening someone whose boyfriend loves breaking things and persons for work." Crystal smiled happily before waving her servo. "Hi, Breakdown."
Flash-shot froze when saw the huge shadow covering him and turned to look at the tall blue Wrecker who was holding a tiny lunchbox covered with ribbons and pink stars in the giant servo.
"Is this little dude annoying you?"
Crystal tapped on her chin, while the smaller mech started sweating. "I don't know... he was going to buy one of my creations here..." she said, nodding to the helm decorations scattered on her desk "but he complained about the prices."
"What? I wasn't-" a huge servo dropped on his shoulder, covering it totally and the mech gulped, turning pale. "Ah... actually I wanted to buy THEM ALL. How much is it?" Flash-shot asked with a shaky vocalizer as he looked for his credit card.

"Bye bye, dear customer and come back soon!" Crystal happy said, while they looked at the annoyed mech walking away with his entourage.
"Tell me the truth, he didn't want to buy anything, did he?" Breakdown asked as he set her lunch box on the desk.
She stuck her glossa out, looking amused. "Maaaaaybe not... but I couldn't resist to give my boss a little victory."
"Uh?" The mech frowned, puzzled. "What victory?"
"The satisfaction she will feel when online will be posted photos of her rival holding a bag with HER shop's brand printed on it!" The femme laughed.

The next day Flairfire was back at the shop. She had cried for hours.
Two of her girls had left her to join Flash-shot. She knew that those girls needed the money and she couldn't give them a higher pay.
Flash-shot had been humiliated by Crystal, yes, but she still lost two of her girls. And that would mean more work for the two still there.
Flairfire had a huge order to fill so she had to help them: this meant she couldn't be with her just hatched son.
Tears fell on her desk.

Meantime Knockout was trying to make breakfast even if Lightingdust was fussing. He wanted to try the food adults ate.
"You shouldn't be at school?" Knockout asked when saw Snowfire giggling at something she just read. "Ah, we haven't lessons, we have to study for the exams."
"Then study." He grumbled, looking at the daughter who seemed more interested on chatting with someone instead.
She pouted. "I'm just taking a short break!"
Lightingdust looked at his sister's dish and buzzed to her, falling on the table with a soft thud making the dish of pancakes flip up. One of the pancakes hit their sire in the faceplate.
Snowfire couldn't help but take a photo, laughing.
Knockout inhaled to vent off and calm removed the pancake from his helm. "Then maybe you should go to rest." He said, glaring at Lightingdust who seemed more interested on nibbling a pancake instead.
Snowfire looked sad. "You don't wanna spend time together, daddy?"
"Lightingdust, stop using food as weapon!"
He wasn't even listening to her. The little dragon got up and rushed to her room, slamming the door.
Once she was the one daddy always looked at. Snowfire pouted, chatting more before sniffling.
She had to see him, now! She quickly looked at the chat and when saw that the other was still online she typed fast.
'Soundwave. I need to see you."

Flairfire sobbed a bit more, before she received a commlink. "Y-yes?"
"Jeez, Flairfire here we have a problem! Lightingdust is  true pest, help please?"
Crystal looked at the boss and sighed. Surely it wasn't easy trying to take care of a sparkling while she had to go to work. Flairfire looked at Crystal and she nodded. "I got it. We can survive some hours without you."
Meantime at her place Snowfire caught her bag and rushed off. Knockout was trying to hold an angry dragonfly which kept buzzing off, climbing him and biting him.
"Ouch, Snowfire I need help here... Snowfire?" Knockout blinked at the door. "Snowfire?" Did she just leave without even telling him where she was going?
Soon after Flairfire came in, looking sad. "I'm here."
"Thank Primus! Lightingdust is driving me insane!" Knockout exclaimed, looking at the mate. "And Snowfire just left without even telling me where she is going, when she is going to come back! She just left!"
Flairfire smiled a  bit now. "It makes sense now: you must have upset Snowfire and Lightingdust felt that and is now angry with you too."
"How can he understand it, he is just a newborn!" He exclaimed, astonished.
The butterfly smiled, this time truly. "Their sibling bond is very strong. Don't you remember when Skyler and Snowfire were little?"
Knockout thought about it. It was true: when he scolded the young son his little sister started screaming and sobbing as if he scolded her!
"Jeez, why they have to be that sensitive?" He sighed, frustrated.
His wife approached to kiss him and pick the son up. "They are technorganics. I bet Skyler will phone you up soon and scold you for making them upset." She grinned.
"It's not my fault! I barely recharged this night and the previous ones, and this night I have a shift ay the hospital. It's not easy working and dealing with a newborn at my age." He pouted, feeling guilty.
He never upset his adorable sparklings that much before... he was getting too old for this?
She smirked softly and kissed him again, looking at him with her tired sleepy optics. "I know honey, it's hard: I don't remember it being this hard and on top of that I am dealing with Flash-shot trying to ruin my reparation. He took two of my girls today." She sighed, looking down at Lightingdust who was taking a nap now. Being angry required a lot of energy.
"Maybe it's better if they left. They weren't enough motivated."
"But now we need more help: I can't just leave it all to Crystal and her colleague when I am not there!"
"Well, you could do like many fashion designers do: create for just few persons so you can focus on quality."
"But then we won't make enough money that way, I would have to lower my workers pay."
"You would have to lower their pay just for a while... few famous customers will pay much more than many common customers." Knockout shrugged and Flairfire pouted.
"I don't want to act like Flash-shot."
Knockout sighed. "Then why you are still here?" He asked, collecting Lightingdust. "I can scold Snowfire and be scolded by our sons myself. You carry your sexy aft back to work, miss."
He always supported her, no matter what happened. Flairfire blushed and hugged him to have some sugar from his lips, before grinning.
"I love you so much!" She bowed to kiss her son's little helm and smiled. "Behave with your daddy, sweetie." She said, before leaving.
Knockout held the son closer, looking at the closed door. Probably it was just his imagination, but his son chirped, getting sad even in the dream world. "Don't worry little one, your mom will come back soon... I hope." He sighed, sad.

"Ah, you did fast!" Crystal relieved said, while she was carrying a pile of pattern books.
Flairfire smiled as she helped her taking some of the books with her secondary arms. "I am sorry, I'll try find some more seamstresses to help out. I can't leave Knockout to do it all, it would be unfair." She said helping her worker. Once at her desk she looked at some requests and sketched out some ideas. Four arms were very useful in that. "By the way let me tell you that I am proud of you Crystal: you dealt with Flash-shot so well. I should have been here to face him, instead of letting him take two of your colleagues. But he wants to ruin my name and my work, so I'll let him create dresses just for rich people..."
"Boss... Flairfire." Crystal gently put a servo on her shoulder.
"Yes, Crys?"
She offered her boss a piece of paper towel and just now Flairfire realized she started crying... again. "We'll manage to find a solution, together. Alright? Don't be sad, boss." She gently said, patting on her shoulder while Flairfire nodded.
"Ah, just some empathy tears, you know... my sparkbond." She blushed and Crystal nodded, embarrassed. The idea of Knockout crying was just... disturbing!
The butterfly returned to her work, then her antennas trembled. She soon grinned and took her favorite sketchbook, doodling with two of her arms while she picked some fabric samples and cut some tiny pieces to remember which fabric would be good for which doodle.
Crystal knew that behavior. The boss was inspired.
She had the confirmation when the butterfly connected with her husband. "Bring our son to the shop and you stay too, my love... no, you are not a bother, sweetie... you know you are my inspiration... thank you." Flairfire closed the commlink and she sighed before returning to her sketchbook.
Her sketchbook was soon full with dresses, suits, haute couture and sparklings outfits inspired by butterflies, dragons, wolves and dragonflies.
"Crystal. I need you to create helm accessories, dress decorations, jewels and hats inspired by these sketches, do you think you could help me?" She asked while Crystal looked surprised at her.
"Sure..." Crystal took a peek at her sketchbook and blinked. "Are these for a commission?"
"A new line. I've just been hit in the helm by Inspiration." She said, before moving to copy the sheets so her workers could work on the different parts with her.
"Ah. Amazing!" Crystal hurried to smile, but she almost ran to her sewing machine to hide her expression to her boss.
Two seamstresses, one distressed with lack of sleep boss, a ton of work to do and a new line coming.
The perfect recipe for a disaster.
When a tired Knockout came in with his son he too had Crystal same reaction at Flairfire's words.
"I feel so inspired!"
"Ah... amazing?" Knockout awkwardly smiled, looking at Crystal's desperate expression. He felt pity for the poor girl. She wasn't going to come back home soon that evening.
The butterfly explained everything and the two workers couldn't help but smile with a desperate sparkle in their optics. It would be a true endeavor even when they were in four!
The enthusiastic butterfly looked at them and her smiled faded a bit. "I know I ask you a lot..."
Crystal sighed, working faster. "Just do what you do the best, boss: think creative. We'll make it somehow."
Flairfire was going to thank her when they all heard a crash. She gasped and turned, seeing something smashing the window shop behind her.
"What is it?" Knockout alarmed asked while Crystal hurried to hide behind her desk.
Flairfire looked around, worried. "Is everyone ok?"
She walked carefully to the window shop and collected the brick. There was a writing on it.
" 'Organic scum'? A hate crime, here?" She confused said, looking at her mate who frowned, looking down at the item. The medic tried to calm the agitated sparkling down, but was too agitated himself, so he handed him to the mate.
"I call the police and ask Breakdown to stay here, just to stay safe." He tense said. He startled when a thin but strong servo caught his.
"Don't go." The butterfly scared whispered, holding tightly the son close to her spark.
He looked at her oddly, before approaching to rub her arms. "I'm just going to call them through the commlink. I'm not going anywhere." He reassured the wife while Crystal got up and went to check the broken window.
She nodded and looked at the femmes. "If you wish to take a day off you..."
The younger apprentice looked nervously at Crystal, looking for advice and the elder didn't let her wait. "Don't be silly, boss. Now be kind and get me the broom and the dustpan, we need to collect the window pieces and cover the hole." Crystal pragmatic said.
After few clicks the police arrived and Knockout told them all the details since he was there and his wife was too upset to talk. Crystal instead kept working like usual after they fixed temporary the shop window and kept working even when a deep angry vocalizer resounded out of the shop.
"Ehi, let me in, there is my girlfriend in there!"
That made Flairfire smile a bit. "Let him in, he is part of the family." She said while Breakdown almost knocked some policemen down to run to Crystal. "You're ok, Crys?"
"I'm fine, just busy." The pink and light blue femme mumbled, putting another decoration done on her table before starting to apply them on the new line dress she was working on. "I might come back late today, I'm afraid I can't date you this night, I'm sorry."
The huge mech smiled. "It is fine as long as you are alright. I was worried when Knockout called me."
"Mhm, don't be. Just working a lot, like usual." She calm replied, moving softly but swiftly the fabric around the sewing machine, while Knockout blinked.
"Wow, that femme is really... tough. I don't envy Breakdown." He chuckled, trying to make Flairfire giggle. But she was too focused on the accident.
"I don't understand. A crime hate... in this district? I always had organics and metals as customers!"
Knockout looked unsure. "I don't think it's a hate crime." He whispered, making sure just his mate heard him.
She looked up at him, surprised. "Then what could it be?"
"It seems something more... personal." He tense said, bowing to whisper to her audio receptor: "Think about it. You have been challenged all of sudden, then half of your seamstresses are bribed and the other half is threatened and now this accident. Who could be the one organizing everything?"
Her icy blue optics grey wide. "Flash-shot? No, he would never do it... what can I do?"
"The police will check this zone for a while, and if it's not enough I'll ask to Skyler or to Breakdown to escort you while you go to work and go back home."
The butterfly looked around, shaking worried. Were her workers in danger too?
Crystal looked quickly at her and blinked. "Would you feel safer if I ask to my sister Piper to be your bodyguard?"
Her boss looked astonished, while the medic smirked. "What? Your little sister Piper?"
"Yes, my little sister Piper." She said, without changing expression.
"No, I don't want to put anyone in danger no matter how good they are..."
Crystal raised a brow. "You don't want to put anyone in danger and yet you call my BOYFRIEND from his job to be your bodyguard?"
Breakdown didn't know if he should be flattered or worried, while Knockout growled. "Keep in mind your place here, girl."
The seamstress stopped sewing to stand up and the silence of the machine made them stiffen.
"I know it very well, sir. I'm one of the workers who could get injured if I keep working here." She sharply said, while Breakdown whined. "And when my sisters will know about this and will get that I'm not going to leave or to ask a day off you won't have much choice. I'm not asking your permission. I'm just telling you a fact: my sister will make sure no one gets hurt. That's all." She said  before sitting down again to return to her work.
Flairfire stood up, sighing. "Alright, I'm going back home. I'll try to work from there until the situation is calm again." She said, walking out while Knockout looked shocked.
"What? Wait, at least let me or Breakdown accompany you!" He exclaimed to the closed door.
He was about to open it when heard the shriek. His energon froze.
Knockout ran out and saw his wife sat against a wall, while a blurred shape speeded off. "Flairfire!"
She sighed and opened her optics, looking confused at the scared medic. Lightingdust was shrieking in the pouch, scared but unharmed.
"Primus, my love, are you alright?!?"
She looked up at him, knelt to her like when he asked her to be his wife. She rubbed her sore helm. "Don't worry, Lightindust is fine. I just hit my aft."
He turned pale. "That's enough. I'm carrying you both to the hospital."
"But we are fine, why..." she looked at her servo and froze seeing energon dripping from her servo.

Flairfire was laying in one of the hospital berths, recovering from her fixing up. Who was that idiot to hit a femme with half police department within a stone's throw?
They were already hunting the attacker, sure that who tried to hurt Flairfire was the one who broke the window shop too.
She didn't know what to do now, if she closed the shop her girls would be upset and out of work. But if she didn't someone else could get hurt. Her worried mate gave her something and she whined, recognizing it. She already took that stuff after she laid her sparklings eggs.
"No, my love... I don't want to sleep." She mumbled, trying to keep her optics open.
"Trust me, my fairy... you need it." Her adored medic said to her asleep mate.
